Training Address: Virtual/ ZOOM 

This is a training designed for current online trainers and people interested in becoming online trainers using the Zoom Video Communications platform. No prior experience doing trainings for early childhood educators online or face to face is necessary. 
48 hours before the training, everyone who signs up will receive an email with a packet of various resources related to conducting trainings for early childhood educators online along with the link to log into the Zoom meeting for this training. 
This training will begin with an overview of how to use various features of the Zoom Video Communications platform. We will then segue to discuss research into best practices for conducting online training and learning. Finally, there will be a free-flowing facilitated conversation where participants can discuss their ideas, experiences, challenges, and share resources related to conducting training online. 

Trainer: Teddy Kokoros 

Teddy Kokoros is StrongStart’s Statewide Training and Industry Navigation Manager. Prior to that, he taught preschool and Pre-K in Boston for 17 years. He has also taught college early education classes both online and face to face at Umass Boston, Fisher College, Bay State College and Lesley University. He obtained an Associate’s Degree in Early Education at Bay State College, Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology at UMass Boston, Master’s in Education with a focus on Language and Literacy at Harvard Graduate School of Education, Post Master’s Certificate in Early Childhood Education Research, Practice, and Policy from UMass Boston, and is currently working on his PhD in Education at Lesley University.
