Winter is Coming. Now what? Indoor Movement Activities for Yucky Days

Target program type(s): Family Child Care

Target audience: Teachers

PLC Address: Online

We all dread the nasty weather of the winter when we’re stuck inside. We know we need to keep kids moving but we are all out of ideas and what do we do about this physically distancing thing?

During this training and two PLCs, we will talk about the brain science between movement and development, learn some new movement activities and plan for a physically distanced winter.

Participants will:
*Understand the relationship between brain development and movement
*Learn new music and movement activities to include in their classroom
*Plan their environment to allow for physical distancing
