Analyzing Challenging Behavior for Possible Adaptations

Training Address: Online

All behavior communicates a message. Examining a behavior for it’s message and it’s function helps educators create a plan to address the child’s needs while teaching the children the skills needed to prevent the challenging behavior. In this session, we will analyze behaviors including the antecedents and consequences to determine what adaptations need to be made to environments, interactions, and expectations.

Trainer: Linda Schumacher

Linda Schumacher has been part of The Institute for Education and Professional Development, Inc.’s training team since its inception. She has been a state-wide trainer and coach since 2006.
